Our Wormery Journey

The children have really enjoyed looking after our wormery this year. Worms are nature's best composters - turning our food scraps into compost. The children have helped to feed the worms every week, water the bedding and they have also helped to mix leaves and shredded paper together when it was time to rebed the wormery. It has been lovely to see it come full circle this year with 2nd class using the compost to pot their plants for Growing Up Day!
