From glowsticks to Lego, on the 20th of January loads of colorful, creative and especially funky shoes were ready for the "Funky Feet Walk" in Malahide park. The walk was the perfect way to raise money for Pieta House and to show how active our school is. The walk was also a really good way to let everyone have fun with their shoes.
HOW WERE THE SHOES FUNKY?
Everyone decorated their shoes with many different designs, there was who glued a teddy dog and who used marker, two or three people came in with unpaired shoes. All the shoes looked amazing!
WHAT IS PIETA HOUSE?
In 2006 the Pieta House opened its doors and since that day it has helped over 40,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm. HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE WE RAISED WITH THE FUNKY FEET WALK? Our school alone has raised 464€! Well done everyone!
