5th Class have been learning all about the Celts. We decided to build a model of the Celtic ringforts built in Ireland 2,000 years ago. The class split in teams. They spent a long time studying old crannógs and ringforts and researching techniques to build a model. They used materials that they found around the school grounds and at home.

There was a lot of trial and error but eventually everyone was delighted with the results.

They were all excited to show off their projects to their buddies in 1st class. They were able to give a history lesson to the younger class and told them everything they learned.
