The Student Voice Conference

Our 6th class students were invited to present their incredible imagineering project to education experts from across the world today as part of the Student Voice Conference. The project was inspired by the work of imagineers who combine imagination with engineering to create amusement rides. Our students chose to tell the story of bioluminescence and the chemical reactions that make it happen through the medium of a theme park train. The students programmed light sensors, coded motors, built functioning switches and made a cave glow in a themed ride filled with a glowing garden and bioluminescent marine life.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our partners on this project: Learnit, Scientix and Dublin West Education Centre. Thank you all for your support!
