5th Class Budgeting

As part of our money chapter in Maths, we looked at budgeting. A lot of us know the hassle of buying presents this time of year! The children were asked to buy presents for a fictional family of 5. They had a budget of €150 overall and could not go over this budget. This take on problem solving gives the children an insight into how they can apply maths concepts to their everyday life.
