It was Shrove Tuesday on March 1st. This is a Christian celebration that takes place the day before Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. In Ireland, it's traditional to eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday!

We followed a recipe to make our own pancake batter and then enjoyed the pancakes the following day. They were delicious! 🤤
