Our 5th and 6th class boys and girls soccer teams travelled north to take on Donabate Portrane ETNS. Both teams put in strong performances and there were clear signs of improvement all across the board.
The boys faced a very strong DPETNS side and despite a difficult first half bounced back to score twice in the second half and created many more chances through good passing and movement up front.
The girls team had a very close match from start to finish and if not for the very capable goalkeepers on both sides, there could have been many goals in both halves. This was a very strong performance from MPETNS who continue to go from strength to strength.
