Our 5th and 6th classes attended a webinar hosted by Olympians Eimear Lambe and Aifric Keogh. Eimear and Aifric won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. They were the first Irish female rowers to secure Olympic medals and they were only the second ever Irish female crew to compete in an Olympic final. We really enjoyed getting to hear about their training routine and their story of their journey to the Olympic Games.
