The children in 3rd class worked with Clean Coasts this week to keep our coasts clean. We had a great workshop followed by a big beach clean at Portmarnock beach. They were rewarded with a picnic and a paddle in the sea afterwards. Well done everyone!

We had a wonderful sunny Global Feast this year. The children dressed up in their cultural clothes and tasted many dishes from around the world. The food was delicious and plentiful - thank you to every parent/child who baked or cooked or offered food! We raised over 900 euro for As I Am - Ireland's Autism Charity, well done everyone!

Well done to the amazing team in Kate's 3rd Class, whose project 'Allergy Bracelets' was shortlisted for the STEPS Young Engineers Awards. Out of hundreds of projects, Sophie, Nessa, Darcey, Maria, Frankie and Julieta's project came in the top 30! A super achievement and we are so extremely proud of them and their project.

Senior Infants had an amazing Book Week. We made Gruffalo art, turned ourselves into Where's Wally, decorated our classroom door with Mr. Men & Little Miss characters, had some parents come in to read to us (thank you to all who were able to help out), we had a dress up parade and we got to see tadpoles in our buddy classroom (Isolde’s 4th class). A busy but fun week!

An exciting visit from the Garda today to tell us all about their uniform including their handcuffs, baton, radios and padded vests.
